**Update 8/25/22**

We’ve run into a bit of a road block. Although we’ve been following the doctors orders and cleaning the surgery site as advised the wound has become infected (I won’t share a picture due to the graphic nature of the wound). He’s currently on antibiotics. Hopefully they will do the trick or we’ll be looking at another surgery to clean the wound. 

On a brighter note he’s officially walking on his own now and has regained feeling in his hands and feet.

He’s still looking at at least 2 months before he’ll be able to go back to work. 

Friends have started this spotfund to help support him and his family during their time of need.

08/16/2022 update

Sorry for the slow updates the last few weeks since the surgery have been hard. He's been struggling to manage the pain and discomfort after surgery but has finally found a comfortable area. 

Today for the first time he was officially able to walk on his own. He's says for the form time in months he can actually feel his feet. He's still struggling to use his hands but he definitely improving. He still has a long road of healing ahead of him. His wife and daughter are working hard to make his recovery as smooth as possible.
