On Saturday December 10th Mesa Public Storage caught fire. The fire took 100 personnel 24 hours to put out. The entire building and every single Storage unit was declared a total loss, including my Storage unit holding a life time's worth of art and many of my supplies and tools from my business gone.
I made several complaints to the managers working at the building on 810 south Country Club drive about people smoking and potentially living in the units, but it would appear that my warnings weren't heeded.
Public Storage requires renters to have insurance, but the $5,000 dollars won't be enough to replace the materials let alone the intrinsic value of the items lost.
Anything donated will help me replace the supplies and small business related objects that I stored in the facility. From the deepest depths of my heart I appreciate any and all support. My heart is broken over the years and history that went up in smoke, but I'm determined to not allow this to break me.
