This all started with our kids.

Last week, our family put together 20 blessing bags for neighbors in our community who may be experiencing hardship to help spread joy this holiday season. Each bag included essentials—and homemade cookies made by our kids. What we thought would be a one-time act of service quickly turned into something much bigger.

After delivering the bags, our kids asked if we could do it again. Then they asked if we could do it every month. Eventually, they landed on a goal all their own: 30 blessing bags every month for the entire year of 2026.

This idea is completely driven by our children:

  • Colton (6)
  • Corinne (4)
  • And our enthusiastic little helper, Carter (19 months)

They want to help people because, in their words, “that’s what Jesus would do.” As parents, we couldn’t be more humbled—or more committed to helping them live out that calling.

The funds raised will go directly toward supplies for the blessing bags, including:

  • Socks
  • Non-perishable food items
  • Bottled water
  • Seasonal and winter attire (hats, gloves, scarves)
  • Hygiene products (toothbrushes, toothpaste, wipes, etc.)
  • Seasonal needs

Our goal isn’t just to meet physical needs—it’s to teach our children compassion, generosity, and consistency in serving others. Every dollar helps turn their big hearts into real, tangible impact for people in our community.

Thank you for supporting our kids’ mission and for helping them learn what it truly means to love their neighbors.
