My name is Beth and I'm a 34 year old mother of 3. My husband lost his job in June and we have been struggling ever since. We had some savings saved up but it has been quickly drained. Christmas is coming and we are drowning in bills. My husband has been applying to every factory in our town and surrounding areas since summer. No one is hiring. He finally applied at some lower paying places and McDonald's hired him in October. He is still applying everywhere he can. He also uses a temp agency and has been calling and calling, she has nothing for him either. I have applied for food stamps and have been waiting over a month.
