Dear Community,
I’m writing on behalf of myself to ask for your support to help me prepare and gather materials I will need to accommodate for Top Surgery (gender affirming). My name is Levi, and I am grateful to have this space and your time to tell my story. Since I was a little I have dreamed of walking, running, playing, and existing comfortably (chest full of pride) along side my chosen brothers and sisters. I quite literally and figuratively have a weight that I need to get off my chest. Until now I have only been able to dream of a day where I can experience being bare chested, free to be me in a way that reflects my inner soul and spirit. My surgery is scheduled for this year, and has given me a strong motivation to create healthy habits for myself and to embrace what it means to physically age and give back to those who have inspired me to move forward in this direction. I am sober, I have been hard at work in seeking therapies that have and continue to allow me to mature and take stock of what I can bring to this world. I hope to inspire humility in myself and others, to create safe spaces in which people can show up as themselves, and seek to further educate myself so that I can be a part of creating a better world for future generations.
