We're a family of 3 that moved to the E coast for a job. To get here we sold nearly everything and came in one, older car that still wasn't paid for, with the hopes of landing on our feet here. Our goal to get a second vehicle as soon as possible, while all sharing the only car has hit a bump in the road. Our only transportation has engine trouble and the cost is nearly 10k! That's way more than the blue book and we still owe almost 7k. Even the warranty that was purchased in good faith will not cover anything for repair over the BB. It's a huge blow for us.
The little town we live has no public transportation in the areas we need to go. I am the disabled mom with Dr. appointments requiring travel further away. I have saved just about 800 to purchase the X Terra, in the photo, and the owner will reduce price to 2400 to help me out.
There are so many good people and genuine people who are struggling. I feel humbled to ask for financial assistance to buy the car. I don't know what else to do.
