My name is Matthew Swinehart. We live in Lancaster Pennsylvania. My wife and I have two amazing kids 11 &12 years old. I started this funding page in hopes of helping reach a goal of ours. I have a lot of medical bills and prosthetic equipment for our future which has been overwhelming. The accident occurred August of 24’. So it’s now been 16 months ago.  I have been out of work since then. Trying to take on any small odd job I can to keep going while recovering.  August 25th 2024 a younger driver on his permit ran a stop sign and hit me on my motorcycle. I went 130’ over the guardrail, over a small bridge and landed by the rocky creek bank.  I am a right leg above the knee amputee now, my left arm was reconstructed and saved from amputation and had many surgeries. They had to take about 2’ of intestine and my ileocecal valve. Which in some cases has been harder than losing a limb. I don’t like asking for money from anybody especially on social media. But I am trying this in hopes of helping with medical bills and future bills for prosthetic equipment, and loss of income. By Gods grace we are recovering and moving forward. Anything given will absolutely be going toward the right reasons and my wife Ashley and I thank you in advance from our hearts. God bless you and have a Merry Christmas.
