this is Frey, I want to thank Caro for all her help and support and also a big thank you for all of you that have and are still helping with my medical bills that keep coming. 
I also would like to wish you all a Happy and joyful holiday season. 
I hope that the new year will bring wonderful and magical moments and that all the struggles of this past year will be just memories.

Greetings Friends…

Caro here for Frey with an update, and the news is good. 

We received the results of his Tumor pathology and while it was positive for cancer, it was a clear cell cancer. It was removed surgically and the boundaries around the tumor have all tested negative. No further treatment is required at this time. Imaging is scheduled for six months from now and we trust that all will be well. 

Frey continues his OT and PT at Northern Dutchess and is doing so well! Today he walked 500 feet with the help of a walker and his hands are getting really strong. He is working hard to come back, but time takes time.

Dear Friends,

Frey wanted to reach out again to everyone who has donated to his medical fund (past and present) and say 'thank you'. Your gifts are easing the way forward and this has made a tremendous difference.

He is doing well at home with his beloved animals and Patricia by his side 24/7. Driver David has been ferrying Frey to/from doctor appointments. Thank you David.

At the beginning of this event a small growth was found on Frey's kidney. It was decided to push back surgery until the spinal issue had been addressed. Frey's neurologist has now given the go ahead for kidney surgery which is scheduled for 23 September. I'll keep you updated, as always.

Frey was able to visit Freya this weekend! It was a great reunion.

This coming Saturday (9/14) Jewelery Artist, Isha Elafi, will be giving a trunk show to benefit Frey's medical fund. She will be selling her work in Rhinebeck Village at the parking lot of the Rhinebeck Savings Bank off of East Market. Look for the tent in front of One On One Salon. We hope to see you there.

We're ready to leave Summer '24 behind and are heading into autumn with high hopes.

Caro here with an update on all things Frey…
He has been making good progress with physical and occupational therapies. In fact, the Doctors think he may be able to go home this Friday and continue as an outpatient. In anticipation of this, we are preparing the house to accommodate his needs. Frey is still not able to walk, so a ramp is being installed for his wheelchair. Other home modifications are also being made. He continues to be deeply grateful for your kindness over these last six weeks and looks forward to being able to welcome visitors to the house in Kingston. I’ll keep you posted as to when he’ll be ready to open that door. We hope you’re all well. Much love from Frey.
