Hi Friends! My son has been suffering for several years, multiple conditions that cause debilitating pain and fatigue. Last year, we finally started getting answers. Those answers came from significant testing, an ambulance ride, a week long hospital stay and even more testing. As you can imagine, all of these steps, even with insurance, add up financially. Those initial steps depleted our savings and put us in a hole that was seemingly difficult to get out of. Fast forward to a few weeks ago when I noticed a chip and discoloration on one of his teeth, and then another and another. It turns out, as part of his conditions, he has very weak, soft enamel. All of his teeth need repaired and strengthen. He will need to be sedated under general anesthesia multiple times for these repairs. He is 15 and facing so much. I just want my poor child to have some sort of normalcy during his teenage years and we can't possibly afford all that is needed for him. Please, if you can spare anything, anything at all, my sweet, kind-hearted child and I would be incredibly appreciative!
My son was diagnosed with ASD, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS), Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS), Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS), reflux, gastroparesis, chronic migraines and Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID). He has the cards stacked against him, yet keeps his chin up and looks forward to maintaining his fish tanks or his next chance to go fishing.
