Meet Kinslee: A Bright and Beautiful Spirit
Eight years old, Kinslee Curtis is a joyful, vibrant young girl who has always lived a happy and healthy life. She loves cheerleading, pageants, swimming, shopping, traveling, painting, drawing, and dressing up—everything that makes childhood magical. Her infectious energy and bright smile light up every room she enters.
But on March 3, 2025, everything changed.
A Life-Altering Diagnosis
Kinslee suddenly began experiencing nausea, dizziness, and severe chest pains. After a series of extensive tests, doctors delivered devastating news—Kinslee has Coarctation of the Aorta, a severe heart condition that requires immediate surgery. This condition restricts blood flow and puts extreme stress on her heart, leading to life-threatening heart failure if left untreated.
Kinslee’s condition is among the most extreme cases, and because of her young age, a stent is not an option—it would not grow with her heart. Instead, she must undergo open-heart surgery to correct the defect.
The Road to Recovery
While doctors are hopeful that this surgery will allow Kinslee to live a healthy and full life, she will have to be closely monitored for blood pressure complications and must avoid excessive strain on her heart.
The Curtis family is now facing an overwhelming financial burden, including:
