Please help funding Upper Cervical chiropractic research

Jean Brunette, PEng, MSc, Phd researcher is affiliated to the McGill University Pediatric Surgery Dept. and has been working intensively for the last 5 years with Dr. Luc Gélinas, Upper Cervical Practitioner, to conduct the JAISON study (McGill Scientific and Ethic approved) about the treatment of pediatric scoliosis with UC technique.

Although the study is still undergoing, Dr. Brunette has already written an article entitled “Spinal Biomechanics Concepts Applied to Pediatric Scoliosis and Trunk Shift” submitted 2019-06-29 to  the “Journal of Medical Engineering and Physics”, to explain revolutionary concepts of spinal biomechanics to the medical community, and invited the Emeritus Professor and former Dean of Engineering  Faculty Polytechnique of Montreal to be co-author.

Dr. Brunette has also written another article entitled “Functional Leg Length Discrepancy among Pediatric Scoliosis: A reversible Neuromuscular Compensation from Craniocervical Junction Misalignment” to publish in the European Journal of Paediatric Neurology, and invited the director of medical Imaging (Cranial Radiologist) of the McGill MUHC grouping the different major Hospitals affiliated to McGill University. This article aimed to introduce the UC technique to medical doctors, and is about a mean 90% reduction of Leg Length Discrepancy in 2 weeks following UC care of n=40 patients followed for an mean 16 months.

Dr. Brunette is currently working on another article entitled “Reversible Juvenile and Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis Case Report: Spinal relief of Neuromuscular Compensation from Atlas Misalignment” presenting the best results of scoliotic patients treated with UC care during the last 5 years.

Dr. Brunette has been working intensively for the last 5 years without any salary from any medical institution or medical funding society. As one can imagine, his financial situation is simply unlivable. As the UC community does directly benefit from this research, it is in the interest of UCs to take advantage of this unique opportunity and support by funding this exceptional research that may finally allow the International Medical  community to understand the benefits of UC care.

Please help to support this exceptional research and alleviate Dr. Brunette from this complete lack of funding and to ensure the continuation of this research, in the interest of all UC practitioner's communities.
