First, I just want to thank everyone who has supported Donald and our family over these past several months. The prayers, messages, meals, visits, and financial support have carried us through some incredibly difficult days.

When this journey began after Donald’s traumatic brain injury and skull fracture, we honestly had no idea how long or difficult the road ahead would be. Like many families facing a sudden medical crisis, we hoped and prayed for a quicker recovery. Unfortunately, the reality has been much more challenging than we could have imagined.

Donald has now been hospitalized for months, and while we continue to fight and remain hopeful, his recovery will require long-term care and major life adjustments. He is expected to come home in a wheelchair, and we are now facing significant expenses related to home modifications, medical equipment, rehabilitation, transportation, and ongoing daily care.

In addition, both of our household incomes have been greatly reduced during this time while we continue trying to care for our children and manage the constant travel between Clarksville and Nashville.

Because the need has continued to grow, we have updated our fundraising goal to help offset these unexpected long-term expenses. Please know this was not done lightly. We are deeply humbled by the generosity already shown to our family.

If you are able to give or share this fundraiser, we would be incredibly grateful. Most importantly, we ask for your continued prayers for Donald’s healing, strength, and recovery as we continue navigating this journey one day at a time.

With love and gratitude,

Diana Wing & Family

Help us support the Wing family.

To everyone here,

Those who know this family know that they would give their last shirt off their back to someone in need. No matter what, Don always makes sure you are well taken care of whether it's a bed to sleep in, a meal at his table or a shoulder to lean on. He will give it, no questions asked.

Don and his wife Diana have two daughters, Mariana and Jamileh. They all go above and beyond to support those around them and it's our turn to support them back.

On January 4th, 2026 Don had an accident resulting in a severe head injury. He was taken to the nearby hospital but then life flighted to another for immediate surgery.

He is currently in stable condition and showing signs of small responses. The outcome of his injuries are still unknown but regardless will be a long road of recovery.

At this time it is unknown when Don will be able to return to work and Diana can only take so much time off. The Wing family is in need of financial support as they navigate this season of life.

All proceeds will go towards:

Daily expenses for meals, travel, and overnight arrangements near the hospital

Medical bills - ambulance, life flight, hospital stay, post hospital visits and any specialty treatments needed

Support towards other bills and necessities

Thank you to all who are able to support and give to the Wing family, no matter how big or small the gift, it is appreciated more than you know! We ask that you share this page with your family and friends as well.

"I can do all things through Christ which strengthen me" Philippians 4:13

Thank you all!

A little update on Don ❤️

Don has been making progress, and we give God all the glory. He has been able to stand with help and take a few steps. One moment that meant so much to us was when his speech therapist asked what he would eat if he could have anything, and he wrote “chilaquiles.” He also wrote our daughter’s name when she asked him to. Things that once seemed so small now mean everything to us.

This journey hasn’t been easy, and there is still a long road ahead, but God has been with us through it all. He is the one carrying us, giving us strength, and working in Don’s recovery. Every step forward is a reason to thank Him.

Thank you for continuing to pray for Don and our family. We are taking each day with faith, trusting God with what comes next.

God is good, and we give Him all the glory. 🙏❤️

It has been a while since I shared an update on Don, and I wanted to let everyone know how far he has come. ❤️

Since his bicycle accident on January 4, Don has been through multiple brain surgeries, meningitis, a VP shunt, cranioplasty, blood clots, months in the hospital and rehab, a tracheostomy, feeding tube, and many complications along the way.

But Don continues to fight.

He is now home with us and has made so much progress. He is talking, answering questions, remembering more, participating in therapy, standing, helping with transfers, taking small steps, using the bathroom with assistance, and becoming more involved in everyday activities.

He is also working very hard on swallowing and communication. His main nutrition still goes through his feeding tube, but he has been able to practice small amounts of soft foods as part of therapy.

Our next big hope is QLI, a specialized neurological rehabilitation program in Nebraska. His paperwork is being submitted and we are currently waiting for approval. We are praying that he will be accepted because we truly believe this intensive rehabilitation could help him continue making progress with walking, swallowing, strength, communication, cognition, and independence.

This next chapter will also bring travel and other expenses. I am currently not working because caring for Don, managing his medical needs, homeschooling our girls, and coordinating his recovery has become my full-time responsibility.

That is why I am sharing our Spotfund again.

If you are able to donate, it would help us with travel, gas, meals, household expenses, and other costs related to Don’s continued rehabilitation. If you are not able to donate, sharing our story and continuing to pray for Don means so much to us.

To everyone who has already donated, prayed, shared our story, brought meals, sent messages, or supported our family in any way — thank you. We truly could not have made it through these months without so much love and support.

We still have a long road ahead, but we also have so much more hope than we did at the beginning.

Please continue praying for Don — especially for his QLI approval, swallowing, strength, mobility, cognition, and continued healing. ❤️🙏

God is good. God is greater.

With God, we win.

When medicine can’t, prayers can. 🙏

First, i want to thank every single person who has prayed for Don, donated, shared our Spotfund and sent encouraging messages, and keeping our family in your thoughts. There are no words to express how grateful we are. Your kindness has carried us through some of the hardest days of our lives.

After 4 months in the ICU and more thank one month in Rehabilitation, we are excited to share that Don is expected to come home this Friday!

This is a huge milestone that we have prayed for, and we are so thankful to finally be bringing him home.

While coming home is wonderful news, it is also the beginning of a whole new chapter in Don’s recovery. He still has a very long road ahead. He continues to recover from his Traumatic Brain Injury and will require ongoing physical, occupational and speech therapy, along with around-the-clock care at home.

As we prepare for his discharge, we are facing many new expenses:

-Medical Equipment and supplies

-Home modifications to make our house safe and accessible.

-Wheelchair and mobility needs

-Wound care supplies

-Transportation to medical appointments

-Medications and continue therapies

-Everyday living expenses as i balance caring for Don, raising our daughters, and working.

Every day, we continue to see small victories that gives us hope. Don is working incredibly hard, and we are committed to helping him achieve the best recovery possible. We know healing from A TBI takes time, patience, and continue rehabilitation.

If you are able to donate or share our fundraiser, it would mean more than we can express. Every contribution, no matter the size, help us provide Don with the care and resources he needs during this next stage of recovery.

Most importantly, please continue praying for Don. We believe prayer is powerful because God is always listening even in silence and every prayer is giving us the strength, hope and courage to keep going, and we are so thankful for the incredible community that has surrounded our family.

From The bottom Of our hearts, thank you for walking this journey with us. We couldn’t do this without you.

Diana, Don, Mariana and Jamileh ❤️🙏🏼

Don has made progress in rehab, and we are grateful for every small step forward. Recovery from a severe brain injury is a long road, and while he is getting stronger, he still needs extensive care, therapy, supervision, and support before he can safely come home.

Right now we are preparing for the next phase of his recovery. We are trying to raise funds for the medical equipment and home modifications he will need, including a hospital bed, shower and bathroom safety equipment, mobility supplies, and other essentials to make our home safe for him.

I will also need to step away from work for a period of time to care for him during this transition, attend appointments and therapies, and help him with daily activities while he continues recovering.

This has been physically, emotionally, and financially overwhelming for our family, but we are staying hopeful and fighting for his recovery every single day. Every donation, share, and prayer truly helps more than we can express.

Thank you to everyone who has supported Don and our family through this difficult time. We are deeply grateful.
