First, I just want to thank everyone who has supported Donald and our family over these past several months. The prayers, messages, meals, visits, and financial support have carried us through some incredibly difficult days.
When this journey began after Donald’s traumatic brain injury and skull fracture, we honestly had no idea how long or difficult the road ahead would be. Like many families facing a sudden medical crisis, we hoped and prayed for a quicker recovery. Unfortunately, the reality has been much more challenging than we could have imagined.
Donald has now been hospitalized for months, and while we continue to fight and remain hopeful, his recovery will require long-term care and major life adjustments. He is expected to come home in a wheelchair, and we are now facing significant expenses related to home modifications, medical equipment, rehabilitation, transportation, and ongoing daily care.
In addition, both of our household incomes have been greatly reduced during this time while we continue trying to care for our children and manage the constant travel between Clarksville and Nashville.
Because the need has continued to grow, we have updated our fundraising goal to help offset these unexpected long-term expenses. Please know this was not done lightly. We are deeply humbled by the generosity already shown to our family.
If you are able to give or share this fundraiser, we would be incredibly grateful. Most importantly, we ask for your continued prayers for Donald’s healing, strength, and recovery as we continue navigating this journey one day at a time.
With love and gratitude,
Diana Wing & Family
Help us support the Wing family.
To everyone here,
Those who know this family know that they would give their last shirt off their back to someone in need. No matter what, Don always makes sure you are well taken care of whether it's a bed to sleep in, a meal at his table or a shoulder to lean on. He will give it, no questions asked.
Don and his wife Diana have two daughters, Mariana and Jamileh. They all go above and beyond to support those around them and it's our turn to support them back.
On January 4th, 2026 Don had an accident resulting in a severe head injury. He was taken to the nearby hospital but then life flighted to another for immediate surgery.
He is currently in stable condition and showing signs of small responses. The outcome of his injuries are still unknown but regardless will be a long road of recovery.
At this time it is unknown when Don will be able to return to work and Diana can only take so much time off. The Wing family is in need of financial support as they navigate this season of life.
All proceeds will go towards:
Daily expenses for meals, travel, and overnight arrangements near the hospital
Medical bills - ambulance, life flight, hospital stay, post hospital visits and any specialty treatments needed
Support towards other bills and necessities
Thank you to all who are able to support and give to the Wing family, no matter how big or small the gift, it is appreciated more than you know! We ask that you share this page with your family and friends as well.
"I can do all things through Christ which strengthen me" Philippians 4:13
Thank you all!
