Our furbaby, Lucy Lu, Doggo Extrodinare πΆπ, still isn't feeling well. We've scheduled an appointment at the low income clinic(Friends of PACC) on February 5th at 2 pm. We have $200 from a loan platform and $100 cash when I get paid. Our priority is Lucy's health and our reality is that we could be in danger of losing our place to live because of vet bills to save her. She's our emotional support animal and our beloved family member. We're asking for help to save her life and make sure we can pay rent and bills so she has a safe place to recover. We've been blessed with so many people willing to help her. We made it to an emergency vet and they started blood work on a valley fever test but it takes about 5 days. We managed to get her an appetite stimulant because she wasn't eating but now it's looking like she'll need more meds for possible valley fever and pain. There could of be a follow up, but we have that taken care of. We're just trying to earn some more funding for future meds and visits, if possible. We are grateful for you all and your generosity so far. We want to be as transparent as we can about this so I will post updates on bills and supplies. If this could be shared a little more, we'd greatly appreciate it πΆ π π₯°Β
Update on Lucy's VCA hospital visit and an itemized bill. She had blood work done and fluid given. We're just waiting for the results to see if it's valley fever. If it is, the vet thinks we caught it early. Thank you for the support and prayers for her recovery journey. She'll need meds for it and we have enough for the first round of treatment. You all have been so generous. If you see this again on your feed, could you share it with others? We still have a $200 Cherry loans for the Friends of PACC clinic on the 5th and about $100 for her first prescription. Any kind of help would still be greatly appreciated. Thank youπ
An update on her appetite stimulant meds: we had it filled on January 30th. It's called Entyce and it was $87. I'll post the receipt.
Update on her results: she does have valley fever but we caught it in time. We were able to get her first 2 weeks of meds. Here's the receipt:
