Hey all! Kaylon and I, came to KY to visit my family. This is the first time I have seen them in 6 years. This is the first time Kaylon has met them. We were also set to bring Alex, my brother, back with us to Los Angeles as he just got a job and wanted to live with us.

Unfortunately, the trip started off rough and we were denied our rental car when we arrived at the airport. Our money for the car is currently being held as well. Kaylon and I were stuck at the airport for 6 hours until my dad and brother were able to come get us. We spent those 6 hours on the phone with the rental car agency and the booking company with both claiming that they no longer have our money. We are technically stranded in KY with no way to get back to Los Angeles because of this unforeseen situation. All 3 of us need to get back before work starts in the next few days.

I know this is a hard time for everyone. But we are needing to rent a Uhaul as there are no holds and hidden fees that would be required. This would allow us to transport ourselves plus bring furniture over for Alex. We need around $2200 for the whole trip.

It would be around:
$1800 for the uhaul
$400 for gas

*both of these expenses would have been taken care of if our money was not being held and we were able to retrieve the rental car that was paid for.
