Hi, my name is Elizabeth, and I want to tell you about a little boy named Louie—and a love story that began before he was ever born.
Love 4 Louie is a children’s book, but it’s also a true story.
It’s the story of how Louie was dreamed of, prayed for, and deeply loved—long before anyone knew what challenges he would face.
When Louie was born, his journey didn’t look the way we expected.
There were medical hurdles.
There were moments of fear.
There was a double amputation at 11 months of age
But there was never a question about one thing—he was created on purpose, with purpose, and surrounded by love.
Telling his love story has been a dream of mine for several years. This book walks through Louie’s story—from before birth through his early years—showing children that obstacles don’t diminish worth, and differences don’t lessen love.
Love 4 Louie is written for:
- children with disabilities who deserve to see themselves as the hero of the story
- siblings and peers learning empathy and understanding
- parents, grandparents, educators, and churches who want to speak life and truth over every child
At its heart, this is a disability-affirming, faith-filled story that gently teaches children:
You are wanted.
You are capable.
You are loved—exactly as you are.
This fundraiser is helping to finally bring Love 4 Louie to life—covering expenses to self publish from editing, illustrations, printing, and making sure this book reaches families and children who need to hear a love story that will remind us all that every life matters. Every person’s story is important.
And this is just the beginning.
It’s my hope that Love 4 Louie will be the first in a disability-friendly series focused on hope, faith, and overcoming—one story at a time.
If this story resonates with you—if you believe every child deserves to see themselves represented and celebrated—I would be honored to have your support.
By backing this project, you’re not just funding a book.
You’re helping tell children everywhere:
You matter. You belong. And you are deeply loved.
