My partner does not know I am hosting this fundraiser because I would like it to be a surprise!! I am hoping to raise $10k in order to help him pay off the remainder of his rent for the lease term, as rent is $2,200/mo and he has lost his job. Doing this will be able to take so much stress and weight off of his shoulders and I would feel so warm and fuzzy if I could help him out in this way. No pressure to donate, anything helps!
