Justice for My Son

Asking for help is one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. For years, I've carried this fight on my own, but today I'm asking for your help because I cannot let my son's story end without doing everything I can to seek justice.

In October 2005, when my son was only 8½ months old, he became the victim of felony child abuse in Neshoba County, Mississippi. In a single moment, our lives changed forever. The injuries he suffered left him with quadriplegic spastic cerebral palsy, making him completely dependent on me for every aspect of his care.

The person responsible pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 20 years in prison but served only 9 years. My son, however, lived every day with the consequences of that abuse. He endured years of doctor's appointments, therapies, specialists, medications, medical equipment, Botox treatments, hospitalizations, and challenges most people could never imagine.

Despite the court knowing the severity of his injuries, my son was never awarded restitution to help with the enormous financial burden of his lifelong care. I have spent years contacting the victim's advocate, the District Attorney's Office, and the Sheriff's Office seeking answers and asking for help, but I have reached a point where I need an attorney to help me fight for the justice my son deserves.

My son never got the chance to live the life he should have had. He didn't choose this path, yet he faced every challenge with incredible courage and strength. Watching him endure pain while continuing to fight taught me what true resilience looks like. He will always be my hero.

Today, I am asking for your help so I can hire an attorney to review our case and pursue every legal option available. Every dollar raised will go toward legal fees and the costs associated with seeking justice on my son's behalf.

If you cannot donate, please consider sharing our campaign. Every share helps our story reach someone who may be able to help.

Thank you for believing that every child deserves justice and for standing beside us in this fight. Your kindness, support, and prayers mean more than words can express.
