I feel beyond blessed to be chosen this week, and it is an answer to so many prayers. I love helping others. I am currently in my final two semesters of school to be a Medical Coder (I graduate in May), and I volunteer as a Virtual Disaster Response Caseworker with the American Red Cross. I am currently married, have a 25 year old son in the Army and a 21 year old daughter that is a Pre-K teacher at WKU Child Care. I also have two furbabies that think they are human.
The past few months have been particularly hard for me. I am medically disabled, but do not qualify for disability because I am short the time requirement (technicalities!!!) so I have to work regardless, so I am hoping my education will help me be able to have a good job I can do remotely from home. I do not have a vehicle and rely on deliveries and like everyone else, have been struggling in this crazy economy. The icing on the cake was our HVAC went out and now we do not have heat and the whole thing has to be replaced. (Ugh!) I am just glad it is warmer this week. Sorry to write a book, but good grief it feels so good to get it all out. I don't get to talk to anybody most of the time.
I feel blessed just to be chosen, and thank each and every one of you in advance for any help and lots of prayers and good thoughts!
