Five years ago, during the uncertain times of COVID, our family faced one of the toughest battles—my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. Those days were filled with fear and hope, but with her incredible strength and the support of many, she emerged victorious. Now, five years later, she remains in remission, a beacon of resilience and inspiration. As her journey intertwines with another milestone—my 50th birthday—we find ourselves reflecting on the blessings and the need to give back.
To honor my mother's fight and her spirit, we're rallying support for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, a cause that has been close to our hearts. Every step they've taken has been pivotal in battles like hers. It feels fitting to celebrate life and health by contributing to their mission, ensuring others get the support and resources they need. Your kindness would mean the world to us as we aim to reach a modest goal of $250, illuminating how collective efforts can lead to a future full of hope and healing.
