My name is Olivia Carr and i’m 19 years old, with type 4 OI. I am currently trying to crowd fund for my upcoming surgery for advanced scoliosis in Delaware due to OI.  The recovery time for my surgery is 6 months and my daughter who also has OI will be traveling with my fiancé and I.  Traveling will be expensive and the doctor recommended I fly home because of the long drive back to Indiana.  For those of you who do not know I was born with a genetic bone disorder called Osteogensis Imperfecta.  OI is where your body does not make or process collagen correctly making your bones brittle.  To date I have broken 135 bones.  It also makes for short stature, blue schlera, weak and lax joints, and scoliosis.  To date I have had multiple surgeries to repair breaks and I have had both of my legs rodded 3 times.  This surgery will help straighten my back and give me a better quality of life.  Anything will help because I have to have the surgery regardless but this will help with loss of wages for my fiance, travel time and mode of transportation, and things I may need during and after the surgery that insurance will not cover.  Thank you in advance for any help and support whether financially or through prayer.  All funds not used will go towards the OI foundation
