Our beloved Liz is facing a battle no one should ever have to endure. On May 7, Liz was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer after a visit to the emergency room. Her life has been turned upside down and she has been in the hospital for the past 2 weeks stabilizing her bloodwork and beginning chemotherapy treatment at Dana Farber. Despite everything, she continues to approach each day with strength, bravery, and so much love for everyone around her.
To know Liz is to love her. You know she will be there for you for the ups and downs and with more enthusiasm than anyone around. She is surrounded by family and friends pouring all the love and support into her that we all can. But soon the medical bills will start coming in and we all want to ease the financial and stressful burden for her and her family so that she can focus on taking care of herself and spending her time with her husband Mike, young children Mikey and Cassie, and the rest of her family and friends.
