Hello family,
I hope you all are well and in good spirits especially during these crazy times. I am reaching out to you all for help in this time of grieving and sadness. My beautiful and fearless mother Theresa Garrido Patenia passed away on Friday, March 13. I am heartbroken, still in disbelief and I was definitely not prepared to say goodbye to her so soon. March is also our birthday month as she was supposed to reach the wonderful age of 60 on the 26th. Heaven really gained another angel.
As my siblings and I prepare for her burial and the celebration of life I’ve encountered some financial difficulties. I’ve been out of work for 2 weeks since I’ve been visiting my mom who was in the ICU fighting a brain injury that put her in a coma before her passing. A last minute ticket back to Guam is $2,000+ and buying one would put me at-risk with apartment rent and bills. You all are family and I am not usually one to reach out for help but if you can I’d really appreciate it. Any amount helps. It would mean the world for me to see my mom’s celebration of life with my family and friends back home.
