Our dear friend is facing a situation no one should ever have to endure. Especially after enduring an extremely traumatic childhood. She is a loving mother of two young children, living out of state with no family nearby and no local support system. For years, she has been financially dependent on her husband, who has become increasingly abusive.
After enduring emotional and physical abuse, incessant belittling, she has made the incredibly brave decision to leave in order to protect herself and her children. But leaving is not simple. With no independent income, no savings she can safely access, and no nearby family to turn to, she needs immediate financial support to safely escape.

- Emergency housing and safe relocation
- Transportation and moving expenses
- Legal fees and protective orders
- Basic necessities for her and her children (clothing, food, childcare)
- Establishing financial independence
