Support Kelvin Ramos and Family: Immigration Relief, European Relocation, and Legal Counsel
Goal:
$30000 to cover immigration legal relief, relocation to Europe, and dedicated immigration attorney fees for their Ukrainian friend Dasha and her children, and ongoing family support
Story:
Hello, my name is Maximilian Klawiter and I’m seeking your support for an urgent, multi-faceted effort to help my friend, Kelvin Ramos who is currently detained by ICE and facing deportation, and to support their trusted Ukrainian friend Dasha and her children as they seek safety and a fresh start. In addition, we want to ensure access to expert immigration counsel to navigate detention, possible relief options, and a new life in Europe connected to their Ukrainian support network.
Here’s what’s at stake:
Immigration relief and safety: ICE detention and potential deportation threaten not only Dasha’s future in the U.S. but also the stability and well-being of their two children, who rely on their parent for daily care and support.
Family unity and care: Kelvin was the primary caregiver and breadwinner. Deportation could destabilize housing, schooling, and access to essential resources for the children and for Dasha , ’s mother, who has Ukraine-based trauma and needs ongoing support.
Relocation plan to Europe: The group hopes to relocate together to Europe with Dasha and her children to find safety, stability, and opportunities, while maintaining lawful travel and documentation.
Legal costs: Immigration proceedings in the U.S., relocation logistics, and the coordination of European visas and entry require substantial resources and expert guidance.
Immigration attorney need: Access to a qualified immigration attorney is critical to ensure fair handling of detention matters, potential relief options, and transparent, lawful relocation steps.
What your donation will cover (combined plan):
Immigration legal fees and representation for Kelvin Ramos including detention matters, potential appeals, and relief options
Court costs, filing fees, translation, and document preparation
Initial relocation travel to Europe for the group (airfare for all travelers)
Housing, first 3–6 months of living expenses in Europe, and local integration support
Visa documentation, entry coordination, and translation needs
Housing-based and school enrollment support for [Ukrainian Friend’s Name]’s children in Europe
Basic transportation, essential items, and language classes or integration assistance
Ongoing support for Dasha (Ukraine) and the children, including healthcare access and education
Why I’m asking for your help:
This plan represents a hopeful path through legal uncertainty toward safety and dignity for a family in need. The generosity of our community can provide a real start for those seeking stability.
We are pursuing lawful, transparent routes with the help
