Nasser Rabah's great poetry is traveling the world, first in English through Gaza: The Poem Said Its Piece, published by City Lights, and, more recently through two books in Spanish translation, as well as the appearance of poems in various magazines and journals. As one of the remaining Gazan artists of an older generation, Nasser's voice is unique.
We know so many of you have already provided support for Nasser and his family and we turn to you again. The media and politicians are lying, there is NO CEASEFIRE in Gaza: relentless attacks continue—water, food, and medicine are scarce and hard to access while prices for anything available have skyrocketed. Survival is both difficult and expensive.
In this very desperate and difficult period, as Gaza no longer makes headlines and its people suffer in ways we can only imagine, please consider donating whatever you are able for Nasser Rabah, his family, and their community in Gaza, as they muster all their remaining strength to survive this catastrophe.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
