"Hello, my name is Christina and I am reaching out because I have reached a breaking point I never thought I’d face.
In January 2022, my life changed forever. I was in a horrific car accident where my vehicle flipped seven times. Tragically, I lost a dear friend at the scene, and I am still grappling with that loss every day. I survived, but with injuries that have made daily life a constant battle: head trauma, 14 broken ribs, a collapsed lung, and tachycardia. My collarbone was snapped in half and had to be completely reconstructed.
Since the accident, I have been unable to work and am currently in the long, difficult process of waiting for SSDI approval. Living in a rural area, my only lifeline was a truck that allowed me to get to my medical appointments and manage basic needs. However, that truck has officially died, leaving me stranded in the country with no way to get to doctors or the store.
