Dear friends and family, We wanted to let you all know that on June 10th, Richard went to the urgent care for stomach and back pain (which he thought was a pinched nerve). During the visit they did CT scans of his abdomen, chest and lower back which showed suspicious lesions in his pancreas, spine, liver and lungs. The urgent care doctor suggested he get in contact with MD Anderson to confirm whether the lesions were cancer or not. Two weeks later, it was confirmed by MD Anderson to be cancer of the pancreas which has spread. At the present time, he has completed 10 radiation treatments of his spine and has started chemotherapy. As always, Richard is in very good spirits and knows God is a healer and miracle worker. We have had a lot of doors open for us and we realize God’s faithfulness in this dark time. We appreciate everyone’s thoughts and prayers through this fight.
