Help Me Return Home to See My Mother One Last Time
I never imagined I would have to write something like this.
For years, war has kept me away from my home and my family. What was meant to be a temporary separation turned into a painful, prolonged distance filled with uncertainty, fear, and heartbreak. I am a single mother with three kids who I support all by myself.
During this time, I lost my father.
He passed away before I had the chance to see him again, to hold his hand, or to say goodbye. That is a pain I will carry with me forever. The war made travel impossible, and by the time I received the news, it was too late.
Now, I am facing another devastating reality.
My mother is in critical condition. Her health has declined rapidly, and I have been told that her time may be limited. The thought of losing her without seeing her again is unbearable. I cannot let history repeat itself. I cannot miss the chance to sit beside her, speak to her, and tell her how much I love her.
Because of the ongoing impact of the war, travel has become extremely expensive and complicated. Emergency travel costs, documentation, transportation, and related expenses are far beyond what I can afford on my own right now.
