Our son was born with Blepharophimosis, Ptosis, Epicanthus inversus syndrome and the costs for everything that's been paid out of pocket have really began to take its toll on our family. We've been dealing with one financial crisis after another; my father passing away, covid/unemployment issues, in the process of moving into another place soon as well as all of our everyday expenses and bills that are beginning to add up due to the costs for travel back and forth to UCSF for our sons chance to have a better quality of life with corrective eye surgery and it's only the beginning of a long road ahead. We are in talks with a lot of different local organizations that are established to help with medical costs/reimbursements for money spent towards food for our son or the gas money it takes to go back and forth but unfortunately we're already struggling due to the money we've paid out of pocket until our most recent trip down to have the surgery take place and are asking for help so that we can afford to be able to keep up on future surgeries/checkup appointments that are still underway.
