I am trying to help a family I assist obtain the ability for a service dog specifically a seizure dog. The amazing young girls name is Samantha Knouse aka Sammy. She struggles with frequent seizures sometimes on a day to day basis. She takes lots of medications for her diagnosis but honestly it isn't enough. this beautiful family struggles every day with this. Her Parents Michael and Kim have been doing this life with her for a long 22 years and just need some help. Insurance does not cover this type of thing and them being older and having their own medical issues its hard on them to be able to jump right up when a seizure comes on. Today, Myself Sadea Anderson one of their Aides that helps with Sammy I was having a conversation with her main support which is her father Mike about things that would help make their lives just a little bit easier. He mentioned this option that I am asking for help on but just hasn't happened because due to being on disability for their own health issues they cannot afford this type of option for Sammy. So here we are, I am going to try my hardest to help these wonderful people to be able to possibly breathe some again and have an option to have a heads up when a seizure is about to start for Sammy. They deserve this. Sammy deserves this so anything helps! lets get them what Sammy deserves.
