The COVID-19 pandemic has disproportionately affected Native American populations across the country. They have infection rates over 3.5 times higher than non-Hispanic whites and are over 4 times more likely to be hospitalized as a result of the virus. In response to this crisis we are creating a health and wellness center with Chief Arvol and Paula Lookinghorse on their reservation. This includes support for heath and wellness long-term strategies to weather the pandemic and treat their community who has suffered in health well before the virus. Funds donated to this page will go directly to helping our native brothers and sisters with breakthrough treatments and remedies for those in need.
We’ve come across a time sensitive opportunity for a heavily discounted $95,000 property which will need to be closed on in the next 2 weeks. We have kicked this off with a donation of $60,000 so we need to raise $35,000 more to ensure we have the land for the wellness center.
Our goal is $500,000 to cover costs to create the wellness center, purchase the healing technologies, medicines and hire staff.
By supporting this $500,000 we will complete phase 1 of the larger goal which is an expanded Heath and Wellness center to properly serve the entire community which will include:

This is the ability to access and distribute supplies needed for healthcare testing, and educational resources to mitigate the effects of COVID-19 and other life threatening illnesses.

These are services and solutions for health and wellness technologies and programs, economic security solutions, cultural and physical/mental wellbeing, public health and safety, and education
