Dear Family and Friends,
I am writing with a heavy heart to share that our beautiful sister, Candace, passed away on Wednesday afternoon, May 6th. She was surrounded by her children, family, and her best friend as she took her final breath.
It is impossible to put into words the depth of what we are feeling as we process the last eight weeks since she was first hospitalized. Losing someone we love so much, and so quickly, feels entirely surreal. We are deeply thankful that we were able to bring her to our parents’ home for her final two days so that we could all be together during her passing. Our hearts are resting in the knowledge that she is safe in Jesus’ arms and that she is no longer in pain.
To all of you who showed up with such kindness and generosity, thank you for your financial support and for caring for our family so deeply. We felt the Lord’s presence and grace through every kind word and action. Please know that any remaining funds or future donations will be used to cover her celebration of life service and to provide ongoing support for her two children, Tim and Lia.
We are taking time to breathe and be together as a family this week. We will share further details regarding Candace’s upcoming Celebration of Life service as soon as those plans are finalized. With Gratitude Kristen Camp & The Lee Family

Supporting Candace Lee’s Journey to Healing and Hope
Three weeks ago, our lives changed in an instant. What began as a persistent headache for my sister, Candace Lee, quickly turned into a fight for her life and her future.
After seeking answers in the emergency room, initial scans revealed lesions on her brain and spots on her uterus. While we waited for results, the situation took an incredibly frightening turn: Candace began to lose feeling in her legs. Doctors soon discovered a tumor within her spinal cord—located in a position too delicate for surgery.
Within days, Candace went from being her vibrant, active self to being completely paralyzed from the waist down.
The Diagnosis and The Fight
The biopsy results confirmed our fears: Candace is battling endometrial cancer which they believe has metastasized to her brain and spinal cord. She has spent the last three weeks in the hospital undergoing intensive radiation treatments to stabilize her condition.
Despite this "impossible" diagnosis, Candace’s spirit remains unbroken. She is a fighter, a devoted mother to two teenage children, and a woman of faith. We are now transitioning into a new phase of her care, which includes:
Immunotherapy and Chemotherapy to target the cancer.
24/7 Specialized Care at a skilled facility to manage her paralysis.
Physical Therapy with the hope of one day regaining mobility.
How You Can Help
We are trusting in a miracle, but we also know that the road to recovery requires significant resources. We have set a goal of $50,000 to ensure Candace has the dignity and support she deserves. Your contributions will go directly toward:
Long-term Care Facility Fees: Ensuring she has 24/7 medical supervision.
Specialized Transportation: Safe transit to and from her oncology treatments.
Mobility Equipment: Specifically a motorized wheelchair to give her back a sense of independence.
Medications & Out-of-Pocket Medical Costs: Covering the gap in her extensive care plan.
A Note of Gratitude
As a family, we are leaning heavily on our faith, believing that God can do "abundantly more than we could ask or think." Whether you can give financially, share this page, or simply lift Candace and her two children up in your prayers, we are eternally grateful. Your kindness provides the light we need to navigate this journey.
"We love our sister so deeply, and we are not giving up. Thank you for standing in the gap with us."
With love and hope, The Lee Family
