LITTLE HANDS, BIG HEARTS
Children Helping Children Through Art
What happens when children learn that even small acts of kindness can change someone’s life?
Little Hands, Big Hearts is a small community project created by two young girls who wanted to use their paintings to help support a child in Haiti through Compassion International. And as their very proud grandma, I joined the effort. :)
Every painting represents more than art.
It represents compassion, generosity, creativity, and the belief that children can bring light into the world when they are encouraged to care for others.
My granddaughters are currently trying to raise $520 which is the yearly stipend to support a child in need through Compassion International.
They create beautiful paintings and instead of fixed prices, we invite people to simply:
“Sponsor a Painting”
You can donate whatever amount feels meaningful to you and contact me on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/mariela.georgieva.92/) or via email - georgiewam@yahoo.com to arrange how to receive your painting :)
If we have to ship the painting we only ask the post office fees to be covered by you, so the entire raised amout can be sent to the child in Haiti. Suggested donation is $15+, but again, you can donate whatever your heart desires.
Our hope is not only to help a child far away, but also to teach our own children something priceless:
Kindness matters. People matter. And even little hands can make a very big difference.
Once the fundraising goal is reached and the support is sent through Compassion International, proof of donation can gladly be shared upon request.
Thank you for supporting these young hearts and helping encourage compassion, creativity, and community in the next generation.
“Little Hands. Big Hearts. Real Compassion.”
