Hi, my name is Jenn,

I have been disabled sense I was 19, they tried to put me in the state hospital at that at that young age. As I grew I progressively got worse to a state that I wish on no one. At the peak of my illness I would rocking in a chair morning to night over and over for months just talking to myself and traped in my mind. I fought my illness and made it to be able to function in society. I am now receiving the right treatment to keep me stable and function. I was taken care of by my mother through what were some of the worst years of my sickness and my life. gradually got better around my 30's Untill she passed in 2021. At the age of 47 now I have come so far but if i cant make it to get food, medication, and doctors appointments. I fear of falling back. Which brought me to a devastating event on Aug. 18th I got into a car accident. Although my injuries are minimal I am not left with a damged undrive able financed car with no collision coverage. I've tried other options for transportation but then I'd be stuck with all these bills plus a new one or just simple not be able to make it. Taking care of myself making my appointments and trying to get through each day like a average indvidual. To be independent and free of the isolation of the hospitals might not seem hard for many of you. But it is incredibly difficult for me because I never had to do that before. And I had no one to support me. Now, I had fallen to a situation where my mental stability is deteriorating. With possible seizures and all the other struggles of my mental instability. I need to make my appointments more now than ever. So I financed a vehicle in the hopes that I would be taking care of it all. And take some stress off of me plus be independent. Unfortunately, I was involved in an accident and due to that accident. Now I have repairs on a financed car. My insurance won't pay for the repairs because the new car had not been put on my policy yet so without full coverage that I was required to have and was in the process of getting. I have no collision on the policy as of yet. So now that I find myself in this position it feels impossible to climb out of and being low-income and live on social security paycheck to paycheck. There's no way I can come up with the money for the repairs to the car, the monthly payments, the high insurance payment, and rental. But I have to make my appointments or i may fall back into that sickness that i have tried so hard to beat since i was young. The insurance companies fighting with me. On a possibility of rental that should be possible because I pay for it monthly but yet still I run into walls and barriers. I need a vehicle. I need this car to run so that I might make appointments. Take care of myself so that I dont fall back destroy, how far I've come. I'm not a danger to society. I am just trying to get by just like everybody else ive come so far but im begining to think maybe this is where it stops. I'm a survivor so I try to survive the best I can. But sometimes everybody needs a helping hand so that's what I'm asking for. Doesn't hurt to try. Thank You for taking the time to at least read this.
