If you know our mom, you know she is one sassy, loud and strong woman. She has a fiery spirit and a heart so giving. Our mom wears so many hats; she was a single mom raising three kids and now she is a grandma to two more.
About two years ago, my mom found out she had breast cancer; a year later, lots of tests, surgeries, chemo and radiation, and we thought she was cancer free. Unfortunately the victory didn’t last long and we found a cancerous tumor in her lungs. She has spent the last three straight months, day and night, coughing, coughing, and coughing. Her lungs trying to get the foreign body out. She can’t sleep, can’t hold a conversation, and her entire body is weak from the cancer and constantly coughing.
The news hit us hard, and we were hit even harder when we found out it was at an advanced Stage 4 Lung Cancer. The cancer has spread to both lungs, surrounding tissues, and unfortunately her bones.
As we go through this fight yet again, the financial burden has added another level of stress. Test after test, visit after visit, and the bills are piling up. ANY donation will add up and be greatly appreciated. These will go to help pay for the expenses: the medicines, the therapies, the doctors visits, and the time out of work, etc.
