My sister Sandra needs your help.  There was a terrible accident when her home was completely engulfed in flames and took the life of her disabled son Dan and his dog. The fire and police departments were able to get my sister out of the burning house and have her transported the the Burn Center in Allentown Pa. Thankfully she will make a good recovery physically but emotionally that is a much bigger struggle.  My sister lost everything, she has nothing left and no place to live. The family are long time residence of Monroe County since our father moved here in the 1960's. Sandra graduated from SHS class of 1968 and her son Dan also graduated from SHS.  Sandra worked hard all her live and is a veteran of the US Navy and a 40 year employee of Riddell in East Stroudsburg.  At age 74 years old it will be very difficult for her to start over.  Her home owners insurance dropped her coverage several years ago claim the house was too old to continue to cover so her house is a total loss.  She has incurred huge medical bills being at the burn unit for almost two months and her health insurance only covers a certain portion of the costs.
