Some people spend their lives quietly helping others, never expecting anything in return. That’s exactly who Sandi and Chuck Craemer are. Help Sandi & Chuck Craemer Rebuild After a Devastating Storm

In the blink of an eye, a massive tree crashed through their Brookfield, Connecticut home, causing catastrophic damage. The tree tore through the roof, destroyed much of the second floor, and left their home unsafe to live in. Gratefully they were not up on the 2nd floor. They brought themselves to the basement where 911 was called as they were unable to get out of their house. The photos speak for themselves, but they don’t tell the whole story. The whole story is about the people who lived inside this home.

I met Sandi and Chuck more than 10 years ago through my son, who worked for them. At the time, I had just undergone a knee replacement. I had never met or spoken to Sandi before and knew very little about either of them. Then one day, there was a knock at my door. It was Sandi.

She was volunteering with Meals on Wheels and had taken the time to bring me a meal. She didn’t know me personally. She wasn’t looking for recognition. She simply saw someone who needed a little kindness and showed up. That is who Sandi is. Sandi has spent her life giving her heart and soul to others, offering kindness, compassion, and support without ever asking for anything in return.

Chuck has spent his life helping people too. Through his towing business, he has rescued countless stranded drivers—often arriving when someone was scared, frustrated, or having one of the worst days of their lives. He has always been someone people could count on when they needed help most.

Together, Sandi and Chuck have opened not only their hearts but also their business to the community. They have hosted countless fundraisers and food drives to support local families and organizations, always giving back and never asking for recognition. They have consistently been among the first to step up when someone else was in need.

Today, they are the ones who need us.

While incredibly grateful that they are safe, the road ahead will be long. Between temporary housing, cleanup, repairs, replacing belongings, and all of the unexpected expenses that come with a disaster like this, the financial burden will be overwhelming.

If Sandi or Chuck has ever touched your life—or even if they haven’t—I hope you’ll consider helping them now. No donation is too small, and if you’re unable to give, sharing this fundraiser is another meaningful way to help.

For years, the Creamers have answered the call when others needed a helping hand. Now it’s our turn to answer theirs. Let’s surround Sandi and Chuck with the same generosity, compassion, and love they have shared with so many others.

Thank you for helping this incredible family begin the journey of rebuilding not just their house, but their home. They’ve spent a lifetime lifting others up. Today, let’s lift them.

Every donation, every share, every prayer, and every kind word reminds Sandi and Chuck that the community they’ve loved and served for so many years stands beside them now.
