My name is Delmus Jeffery and I am Blues Guitarist,Singer/Songwriter from Texas. While living in Austin Texas, I had the pleasure of meeting Texas Blues Guitarists Jimmy Vaughan and his brother Stevie Ray Vaughan. Meeting Jimmy Vaughan was a dream come true. I lived in Austin from 1976 thru 1981, an experience that weighed heavily and one that I will never forget. It was at that time when Clifford Antone opened the Blues Club called "Antones". During that time period, I was fortunate to also meet Austin Blues musicians, Denny Freeman, Derick Obrien, Miss Lou Ann, Van Wilks, Eric Johnson, Doyle Bramhall and a whole host of fabulous Austin Texas musicians. One night Jimmy Vaughan let me sit in with his band "Storm". Since that night my life was never the same.
Blues Musician Eddie Taylor who taught the great Jimmy Reed how to play has greatly influenced my Blues style with a touch of Freddie King (my cousin), Lightnin Hopkins (my other cousin), Little Milton, Albert King along with Buddy Guy.
I am trying to release my first Blues record called "Keep On Loving You".
