It is with heavy hearts that we cherish the life of Angel Araceli Vasquez Del Cid. Angel also known by her names of Araceli, Chela, and Sandra battled two long years of cancer. It was on January 22nd, 2024 where her battle finally came to an end. Angel leaves behind her two young adult sons, Alfredo and Jonathan. She also leaves behind her daughter Yaqueline and her two grandchildren, Gigi and Lenny. They will carry on her legacy of the Vasquez name.
Angel came to the United States from El Salvador over 25 years ago in search for a better life. She was a strong, resilient, caring single mother who worked incredibly hard to support her children. Regardless of her own struggles, she never failed to help others in need with her genuine kindness. She was known to be a caretaker for her loved ones. Angel made ever-lasting friendships throughout her life. Those who knew her, knew that she was a valiant woman who stood up for those she cared and loved.
Unfortunately, Angel never returned back to her home country due to her immigration status. Her wish was to one day see her family in El Salvador again. We want to honor her wish with a proper burial service where her mother resides and where her father is buried. Most of her siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives there have not seen her since she left over 25 years ago. We would like for them to say their final goodbyes.

Con gran pesar apreciamos la vida de Angel Araceli Vasquez Del Cid. Angel también conocida por sus nombres de Araceli, Chela y Sandra luchó contra dos largos años de cáncer. Fue el 22 de enero de 2024 donde finalmente su batalla llegó a su fin. Angel deja atrás a sus dos hijos adultos jóvenes, Alfredo y Jonathan. También deja atrás a su hija Yaqueline y a sus dos nietos, Gigi y Lenny. Ellos continuarán con el legado del nombre Vásquez.
Angel llegó a los Estados Unidos desde El Salvador hace más de 25 años en busca de una vida mejor. Era una madre soltera fuerte, resiliente y cariñosa que trabajó increíblemente duro para mantener a sus hijos. Independientemente de sus propias luchas, ella nunca dejó de ayudar a otros con su genuina amabilidad. Era conocida por ser la cuidadora de sus seres queridos. Angel hizo amistades duraderas a lo largo de su vida. Quienes la conocieron sabían que era una mujer valiente que defendía a sus seres queridos y a quienes amaba.
Desafortunadamente, Angel nunca regresó a su país de origen debido a su estatus migratorio. Su deseo era algún día volver a ver a su familia en El Salvador. Queremos honrar su deseo con un funeral adecuado donde reside su madre y donde está enterrado su padre. La mayoría de sus hermanos, tías, tíos, primos y otros familiares no la han visto desde que se fue hace más de 25 años. Nos gustaría que se despidieran definitivamente.
