Tony has been one of the most respected drummers in Carolina Beach Music for over 50 years. If you've ever spent much time listening to Beach and Shag, undoubtedly you've heard him either live with such bands as The Martin Davis Band, Legends of Beach, The Men of Distinction, The Castaways, The Kay's, or the Kruze Band, or on more recordings than can even be listed here. He is a CBMA Hall of Famer twice, he is the very best father his 2 boys could ask for and he holds the title of rockstar Papa to his Grandprincess!
Now as he begins his aggressive chemotherapy and radiation treatments, we are asking all of his friends to help him out! Musicians make their living playing music mostly during the summer months, and this treatment regimen will likely prevent Tony from capitalizing on the boom times. This fundraising effort is to help with day-to-day expenses, treatment copays and to take the financial stress off of him so he can focus on just getting better.
