Grandma's house.
I'm trying to raise money to help my elderly grandma (75) live her life out in the home that's she's lived in for 50 plus years. My dad grew up at this house and my siblings and my self have also. My kids also have been there multiple times.
Years ago grandma hadn't been doing well lost here job many years back and started getting behind on property taxes. My father had stepped in like a brave soul he is and helped grandma out took a loan out to get taxes paid up. Stipulations they agreed upon was grandma GAVE dad the house and grandma was to stay there to live out her wonderful life as she always wanted and to NEVER be put in assisted living.
As a few years went on, life seemed wonderful for my Grandma! She's was nothing more then thankful and appreciative and happy again. Until my father was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer..... my dad being 54 had a strong soul and a tough body so we thought. Things went south extremely fast. My father was a very given man and an enjoyable soul! Outstanding, caring and genuine man! Taught me everything I could ask for to make a living in the construction field and what hard work can really do.
Once my father had found out he was in denial, and to say anything was addressed with his items and rental properties and grandma's house, well it wasn't in existence unfortunately. He was a very hardworking man and his hardwork and success started many years ago and with No Will, no agreements, no anything. Unfortunately upon dad's passing we were left with a mess of items to figure out because dad was briefly newly married. And I had one thing on my mind and that was saving grandma and her house so it would be sold and her end up homeless with nothing to live in.
It's taking many many many months and alot of money for lawyers and such with the unfortunate situation with dads ex partner. And A LONG drawn out battle and digging out of a hole, we are asking for help from people like you! Our hearts would grow, we can't ask for anything more. I know we'll never properly me but just remember you'll always have a piece of us and we'll always be greatful!
Cancer.... cancer took my father away from us and God called him home. My brothers and I, we had to be accepting of God's calling and well bond and grow strong.
This was my calling to do everything in my power to help my grandmother and we won't stop.
