Kabuya, referred to as Gedeon Kubya, received a diagnosis of Typhoid Fever on December 28, 2024. This condition is a life-threatening infection caused by the bacterium Salmonella Typhi and is notably prevalent in the Democratic Republic of Congo (RDC). The effects of typhoid fever have notably compromised his respiratory function, resulting in the dissemination of the bacteria through his bloodstream.
For him to obtain the necessary high-quality medical treatment vital for his recovery, a financial contribution of at least $4,000 is required, with the total expenses potentially reaching as high as $5,000. We respectfully appeal to individuals who can provide donations to assist this vulnerable child. Your generosity would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
