Austin is a young man that has Goldenhar syndrome. Which is a cleft palette Craniofacial abnormality that has affected his right side of his face and jaw. Austin has had over 50 successful surgeries to correct the necessary functions that he was born with out. Mainly his eating and breathing. We have a new doctor and a surgery plan in motion. This requires us to meet an out of pocket $5000.00 deductible to cover him and the family 100% for any and all medical needs for 2021. Austin needs this last surgery to help him breathe. His bottom jaw does not grow. He will need a upper mandibular and lower mandibular jaw distraction to accomplish this. It's going to many doctor visits hospital stays, and time off work while he recovers. We also will be holding an online auction of goods that people will be donating. We also know that times are tough right now and so sharing this site as well as following us on his Facebook page to spread the word will be so helpful.
