Hi! My name is Ryleigh-Caroline, Miss Socastee High School Teen, and I am raising money for Miss America Scholarships as a part of the Miss America's Outstanding Teen program. I will be competing in Miss South Carolina Teen this June!
The Miss America Organization's mission is to "prepare great women for the world, and to prepare the world for great women." One of the ways we do this is by providing scholarship assistance - from the national competition, all the way to our local communities.
I am currently a Junior at Socastee High School and a Full IB student there. I am a member of Student Council, currently serving as the Junior Class Vice President; I have previously served as a Freshman and Sophomore Class Senator. I am a Varsity Cheerleader and I have cheered at Socastee for the past 3 years. I was also on the Track and Field long-distance team as a freshman and a sophomore. I am a Varsity Girl’s Tennis Player and I have played tennis at Socastee for the past 5 years. I have also won a state championship in girl’s tennis 5A. I am a member of the National Honor Society, Rho Kappa (Social Studies National Honor Society), Mu Alpha Theta (Math National Honor Society), and National English Honor Society. I have also represented my school in the 2021 HOBY leadership seminar. I have been a member of DECA for the past 5 years, and I was the DECA chapter VP of Leadership and am currently our DECA chapter President. Furthermore, I have also been a member of Young Republicans for the past 3 years and am currently on the Socastee High School Skeet Shooting Team.
My platform is "Choosing Courage over Comfort". I aim to be an encouragement to others to open up and be vulnerable to become one's best self by inspiring others to get outside their comfort zones in order to achieve their goals and grow.
