Earlier this year, Monique was diagnosed with stage four ovarian cancer. She also has sepsis and pneumonia, is unable to work, and is unhoused as a result. Monique is fighting for her life and needs all of the help she can get. Needing to switch hotels frequently, struggling to get the medications, supplements, and food she needs, and trips to the hospital and ER are exhausting her and impeding her ability to rest and heal. She’s texted me with a 103° fever, needing to walk to the store to get her medications, and fever reducers. Most of us can't fathom what she has had to do to do day-to-day.

Many hands make light work. If you can do a little, I promise that it does a lot.

A huge thank you to everyone who has helped so far. To anyone who sees this, please share. Sharing helps so much. And thank you to everyone who has kept Monique in their hearts and prayers. 💛✨

Thank you for everyone who has donated so far. While the last update had some good news, her fight is far from over, and her needs are just as high.

She is not responding to the new treatment as well as the doctors had hoped and implied as possible, so we will see where they go from here. She has nurse assistance four days a week, which has helped so much with basic services like blood transfusions, etc.

We hope she will be moving into her apartment this week, which will help her to feel more safe and settled. 💛 But she still needs food, rent, vitamins, etc. basically all of the day-to-day cost of living, and being very sick and disabled by her cancer. The current state of inflation and high gas prices has driven up so many costs.

Every little bit helps. Please share this campaign if you are able.

Hello!

Thank you so much to everyone who has donated or kept Monique in your thoughts and prayers. It's helping! 💕

Monique is past the sepsis and pneumonia, which is wonderful. She has had her fair share of scares and issues, but she has faced every hurdle full force, and never stops shocking us with her strength and determination.

They have started her on a new semi-experimental medication. The research so far is promising, so we are hoping for the best with this.

She has also found permanent, affordable housing! This is huge as living in hotels is so expensive long-term. We are grateful for this. It is also closer to the hospital, which makes rides easier.

Any one who can help would be helping her get settled into this new apartment and give her security to continue the treatments she needs. She has been very tired, sleeping a lot, but it's really only way her immune system can get the strength she needs to fight this fight.

Thank you again for everyone's support, however you are able. Even just keeping her in your heart makes a huge difference and helps her through the bad days.

🥰❤️
