Our 1897 Victorian home is more than just the place we live—it’s a piece of history that we’ve been honored to care for. We fell in love with its timeless character, beautiful craftsmanship, and the stories its walls must hold after more than a century. Like many owners of historic homes, we’ve discovered that preserving it comes with challenges we never imagined. After several unexpected setbacks and costly emergency home repairs (new A/C and furnace and extensive plumbing, we’ve reached a point where the roof, porch and exterior can no longer wait. Every heavy rain brings worry that more water will find its way inside, causing damage that could threaten the home’s future. We’re doing everything we can ourselves, but restoring a home of this age is more than our family can manage alone. If you’re able to contribute, you’ll be helping preserve a 129-year-old Victorian for future generations. Whether you donate or simply share our story, your kindness means the world to our family and helps keep a small piece of history standing strong.
