💕 Help Meggan Heal and Get Back on Her Feet 💕

Hi everyone,
This donation page was made after I had emergency surgery on October 3rd. The doctor mistakenly cut my bowel in the surgery which caused sepsis, and doctors had to perform a bowel reconstruction to remove damaged intestine and sew it back together. After further infection was discovered, a third surgery was necessary to clean out more infection.

I recovered in the hospital until October 20th, bringing the visit to 20 days long. It was a scary, emotional time, but I fought hard to get back home to my family.

I was unable to work while recovering for a month and a half, and the medical bills and other expenses have piled up.

If you’re able to give any amount, it would mean the world to our family. Every donation — big or small — will go toward medical bills, and bills that were left unpaid during the time I was not able to work.

If you can’t donate, please consider sharing this page or keeping us in your prayers. 💗

Thank you so much for your kindness and support

I was able to start back to work on December 1st, but won't receive a check until next week. Medical bills continue to pile up, as well as bills that we were unable to pay in October and November when I was not able to work. Regular household expenses have been difficult to manage, and currently our car is broken down. We are trusting God and know He will make a way. We're grateful for the blessings we've been given, and thankful for all of the love and support.

UPDATE: What should have been a pretty simple laparoscopic surgery, ended up with the discovery of a rare fallopian tube twisted by itself, and the ovary being stuck to the colon by adhesions. The damage had been getting worse over the several weeks it took before a doctor would do surgery to find out the cause of the pain that began in the beginning of September. The sepsis was caused by the obgyn cutting through 50% of the small intestine, and a complete bowel reconstruction was urgently needed. Meggan was discharged on October 19th, after 20 days. The recovery time for these surgeries ended up being a lot longer than originally anticipated, and although a few weeks have gone by, there's still quite a while before getting back to normal. This time of year is hard financially already, but being without income for 2 months, with bills piling up, it has added more difficulty for the family. Thank you for your prayers, love, and support during this time, and God bless.
