My good friend Volodymyr Kashirin is a huge supporter of Panther Magazine and has even featured Panther Magazine in his blog : https://crownvictoria.kiev.ua/po%d1%97zdka-knyazhim-zatonom/.
He’s the owner of a ‘95 Crown Victoria. Volodymyr is a born and raised native in Ukraine. The war that’s currently happening in Ukraine has effected the entire community in, dramatically. All of Mr. Kashirin’s funds have gone to the war - along with his personal life, his ‘95 Grand Marquis has been effected by the war as well.
“The essence of the problem lies in the fact that just before the war we were going to restore my 1995 Crown Victoria. We had already agreed to begin repairs on the Panther in March of 2022 and were calmly preparing, but in February the war began.
At first we thought it would be for a couple of weeks, but when six months passed, we realized that this was until the bitter end.
During all this time, everything we all the funds we collected before the war was spent on more important issues - we were not evacuated from the city and we had to experience all of the most interesting things for ourselves.
The Vic showed herself to be a fine lady - she carried groceries along deserted streets, charged batteries during a blackout, and shuddered along with everyone else when downed planes fell nearby or cruise missiles exploded.
He says : I’ve only seen this in action movies before - and often in these action films a Crown Vic was in the frame - we have almost the same picture as the movies.”
What his car needs :
the most critical:
radiator, front and rear brakes, tires, electrical work, changing the oil in the automatic transmission, pipes and then it’s easier - windshield, one window lifter, wiper motor, silent blocks and after the war - painting
