Our dear friend has not had the easiest of times. In 2012 months before Sandy hit his hometown of Island Park, NY his dear wife (40 years old) was diagnosed with terminal cancer. After Sandy struck, not only did they lose their house (not insured for flood) but his wife lost her battle with cancer.
After years of trying to get his life back together, he obtained a job delivering food. One night while on a delivery he was jumped by 7 people, stabbed and robbed. While he survived, he was again at ground zero being unable to work. While workers' compensation is still pending, his payments ceased and he was evicted, car was repossessed and is now living in a motel being paid for by social services.
He just needs a little help to stay on his feet. I normally hate doing these fund me proposals but he is in dire need of help. Any amount will be a blessing.
